Phrase finder: paste archived Pandagoo wording, get the meaning and next step

Type or paste a line from a Pandagoo screen, or something close to it. The finder returns the closest card with where the line appeared, what it meant and what to do, plus a few near matches.

How to use the phrase finder

How to use the tool: paste the wording into the box, or type the few words you remember, and press the button. If you know which part of the site you were on, pick the screen to narrow the search. The top result shows the full card; the near matches underneath show how closely each one fits, so you can tell a firm match from a guess.

  • Short beats long: "invalid goods" finds the parcel warning as well as the whole sentence does.
  • Spelling slips are tolerated, because the score compares groups of letters rather than whole words.
  • Numbers and curly-bracket stand-ins such as {amount} are ignored when matching.
  • Nothing you type leaves your browser; there is no server behind the tool.

Wording the phrase finder will not recognise

It only knows the 202 phrases filed in the nine chapters, plus the stored English sentences they come from. Wording that Pandagoo loaded from its server, such as route names, help articles and notices, was never stored, so the finder cannot match it. If a line you saw returns nothing above the threshold, it probably belonged to one of those.

Lines from other agents that run the same software will often match, because the template text is shared. The meaning will usually carry over; the numbers and policies may not.

If you find a line the finder should know, send it to [email protected] with the screen it came from.
