Money you parked with the agent lived in the account balance, in Chinese yuan. These cards cover adding money, taking it out, paying by bank transfer, coupons, and the referral program, then the currency labels that decide what a top-up is worth.

The balance page had four tabs: account recharge, recharge record, payment details and withdrawal record.

Amount frozenThe balance was kept in yuan, which the top-up limits show (¥10.00 to ¥5000.00). Anything you paid in another currency was converted at least once. The archive gives three clues about how. A label reading "Approximately equal to" showed a converted estimate next to yuan amounts. Bank transfers were converted to yuan when they arrived, at the rate the website showed that day. And the transfer page told you to pick a sensible currency to avoid exchange loss.
So the exchange rate you actually pay is the rate shown on the site when your money arrives, plus your own bank's conversion if you send a currency your account is not held in. Neither rate was archived. Before topping up anywhere, compare the agent's displayed rate with a market rate on the same day; the gap is a fee even if it is not called one.
